Frequently asked questions
Yes, you will need hired equipment insurance to rent from us. This can be your own policy or we can help set this up at an additional cost. In some cases we may accept a deposit for the items instead. Please see our insurance page (https://www.cinehire.co.uk/insurance)for more guidance.
Our full damage policy is detailed in the rental agreement. Please inform us and your insurance company as soon as possible. If the equipment was stolen, report it to the police immediately. You or your insurance company will be liable for the repair cost or replacement cost of the item(s).
We are open 7 days a week.
Standard operating hours are 9am-6pm
Extended operating hours on request are 6am-11pm.
We are based just off Lewes Road at 2 Coombe Rd, Brighton BN2 4EA. Please see our find us page f(/find-us)or detailed directions. We may also be able to offer collections from our office near the top of Elm Grove, Brighton.
Yes delivery may be possible at an additional cost. Please mention this when making your enquiry and we will contact you to discuss options.
Yes, there is ample parking for cars and vans.
Call us any time and we will do our best to give technical support and get you up and running. We also run a production company so can also provide staff to support on your shoot from photographers to gaffers, grips, AC's and more.
Yes, we can offer rentals for any length of time. Discounts are available for longer rentals, contact us for a more accurate quote
Rentals can be extended at the standard rate so long as the equipment isn’t due to be booked out for anyone else. If you think you may need to extend or are unsure of your return date/time, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate.
