Insurance

Our team can help guide you through the requirements but this guide may be helpful to give an overview.

01

You will be required to prove you have hired equipment insurance. This is separate from standard equipment insurance, public liability or professional indemnity. Please check your policy carefully or check with your insurer if you are unsure.

02

The name and address on the policy needs to be the person who is hiring: the policy needs to have the hirers name and address on it, not just a shoot or project name. If the policy has a client’s name on it then they will have to rent the equipment.

03

The amount covered must be sufficient to insure the full replacement cost of all items hired. Please ask us for a valuation as some items come with additional parts in a kit and simply looking the price up online may not be accurate.

04

The full time the equipment is in your possession must be covered. Please make sure you include collection and drop off days, not just shoot days as well as delivery days if the equipment will be in transit.
