Every gaffer knows it's often the smallest pieces of kit that keep a shoot running smoothly. While cameras and lights get all the attention, having the right grip and lighting accessories can save valuable time on set and solve problems before they become delays.

Don't Forget the Little Things
The difference between a smooth shoot and a stressful one often comes down to preparation. Adding a few extra clamps, mounting accessories or battery-powered lights to your hire package can solve problems before they happen and give your crew more flexibility on location.
Cardellinis & Mafer Clamps
Need to mount a light where a stand won't fit? Cardellini and Mafer clamps are essential for attaching lights, flags and accessories to railings, pipes, door frames and other structures. They're invaluable for tight locations and creative rigging solutions. Choose from Centre Jaw or End Jaw clamp in various sizes. We mostly stock Matthews Mattellini clamps do also love the Kupo Super Viser Clamp for its built-in baby receiver which lets you attach a magic arm or various other accessories directly to it.
Baby Plates
Sometimes you need a fixing point exactly where you want it. Baby plates can be mounted to walls, ceilings or wooden surfaces, providing a secure 5/8" receiver for small fixtures and grip equipment. They're a simple solution that's easy to overlook until you need one. Screw them to a piece of ply and you can mount your light super low to the ground or any other surface.
Small enough to fit almost anywhere, we don’t do a shoot without a couple of them chucked in the bag just in case. The Aputure MC is one of those lights every crew just finds a use for. Whether it's adding a subtle splash of colour, hiding inside a car or giving practicals a boost, these compact RGB lights are surprisingly powerful.

Pushing the definition of small for some of them, but for creative accent lighting, practicals or hidden sources, Aputure Infinibars are incredibly versatile. They come in 1ft, 2ft or 4ft sizes, can be battery or mains powered, and can be joined together with connectors for cool creative shapes.
